Cringey bandwagoning makes me hate some people
I do not understand why some people aboard the ship of haters for ridiculous reasons?

Its not valid for only this game but many other stuff.

For example, some people on YT do a highly annoying video for certain reasons or even for trolling , spread the disease and people follow them.

Okay there is no Batman but Batgirl. Whats so critical or deadly about it ? nothing.

F 'em.
I'm going into the game expecting an alright game. I'll be happy with something that's fun to casually pick up.

The people that are content or happy with something tend not to make any noise, however the people that are upset tend to make a lot of noise, makes it look like a lot of people are unhappy when it's just a vocal minority.

Also it does suck but that's the world we live in the so called influencers say something then a hoard of easily influenced people go out into the world to spread it, most of which are incapable of making their own opinion on things.

They just want to pick fights for the sake of it. People who want to give it a fair chance and keep a cool head are called out for blindly supporting it and being fanboys. They are just unhappy incels with circular family trees, theres no deeper reason behind their actions.

People see review scores and dismiss the product, which is sad and sometimes unjustified.

Maybe I'll buy&try it later, but the performance/stuttering issues that are mentioned really concern me, I don't purchase high-end hardware to have a bad technical experience.

I never listen to reviews. I judge myself whether I like a game. I could care less what reviewers say. If i enjoy the game, then that is what matters to me.

I remember it happening with Duke Nukem Forever. It was an average game that didn't live up to the hype, but the bandwagon hating was obvious with everyone acting like it was the worst game ever made. Reviewers seemed like they were trying to one-up each other in saying how bad it was, some even giving it a 1/10.

Because most people don't have a life outside of video games, there fore an "ok" game is the end of their life lol. They can not get some people are happy coming home to have a game where they can fight random thugs with your favorite Bat heroes for an hour or two.

See, this is the correct take.

I do however encourage people to not pre-order, ever.
And I dont do that because I hate a specific game.

I do it because companies tend to lean into hyping people up and delivering sub-par experiences who they then try to "patch/fix later", when really, you SHOULD be expecting it to at least run competently.

That's YOU paying money for something that doesnt work the first week on release, until they manage to fix the issue (sometimes they never do).

Sometimes it comes from a place of crap experience, sometimes it comes from a person just being a miserable piece of sh*t who wants to rain on your parade.

You kinda have to know how to separate the two, or you'll go negative.

Also, do not watch "reviews" on YT before the game actually launches..
That's ALWAYS clickbait, and negative PR is still "good PR".

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you're the first person I've seen who actually has the same take about Duke Nukem Forever as me. Like, go to any "Top 10 worst games of all time" lists and it'll most likely be on there, when in reality it was just a bland shooter that kneecapped itself by using a 2 weapon system like Halo. Not great, not even good by most standards, but not as bad as Big Rigs or Superman 64.

What's real actual cringe is how the hardest a game bombs, the more deluded its tiny fanbase gets.
Y'all are reacting the exact same way the folks over Babylon's Fall forums were.

Making stuff up and strawmen for yourselves to tear down, like this thread right here.

No one is delusional here. We are just saying we want to give a game a fair chance before its even out yet, whats wrong with that? If it turns out to suck when I play it myself I write a negative review, bash it into the ground and refund, but why just jump on a hate train? Just because your favorite youtuber didnt like it? What if hed tell you to jump out of a window, you do it too?
