Lowelheim's Survivor Guide to Hidden Stats
All right lads, if you are playing survs and you struggle even within a team of skilled players, probably you are the weak link of the chain.

Probably what you need is just a little more knowledge of what you do not see, because in the game, classes are not created equal, some have been nerfed, tweaked and so on, but what lies below the surface can help you understand in a very simple way what to do and more important what do not in every phase of the game.

Disclaimer: these stats are 11 months old, when some folks (wandering who?) decided to dig the bones of the game. This mean that they could be different and use this stats as a general guide to drive your actions and not as enlighted scriptures found on the peak of the highest mountain (dunno what I have written, but sounded cool)

WEAPON'S HIDDEN STATS BY CLASS

Note: these stats are what you would call the default, before applying Skill and Pink F in game upgrades.

Melee Weapons

[Supposing that the damage of a melee weapon is 100]

Leader Class = 100
Warrior Class: = 150
Hunter Class = 70
Support Class = 80

This mean that when the hidden modifier are applied to the damage you are holding in your strong hands, depending on the class would result in an effective tool or an almost ineffective tool of war.

This also give some easy hints when you should enter in melee in first place, or if you are the target of the demon, just simply avoid to attack and let other classes more suitable do the DPS while you evade the attacks.

Ranged Weapons

[Supposing that the damage of a melee weapon is 100]

Leader Class = 100
Warrior Class: = 50
Hunter Class = 150
Support Class = 80

Same is for the ranged weapons, but in this case, for example if you are a support class, if you are facing AoE Demons, most of the time they are elite units and the boss, a safe place to stand is afar, using ranged and healing the band of fools that is fighting, it also shows that the ranged damage of a warrior is trivial and should never be considered an effective choice during a fight, even without a melee weapon you would punch harder than firing a ranged weapon.

RECAP THE STATS

For those of you that got some problems crunching the numbers and figure out what these stats mean, here a simple recap:

Leaders do base damage with Melee and Ranged
Multiplier of 1.0x on both melee and ranged

Warriors do 50% more damage with Melee and a miserable 50% less damage with Ranged
Multiplier of 1.5x on melee and 0.5x ranged

Hunters do 50% more damage with Ranged and 30% less damage with melee
Multiplier of 0.7x on melee and 1.5x ranged

Supports do 20% less damage with Melee and Ranged
Multiplier of 0.8x on both

This mean that the next time you'll see a warrior spamming ranged fire you will instantly realize two simple things.

- he's a fool
- you are screwed

See ya next time!
