You talk a meshup with Resident Evil? Am I correct?
I doubt the devs have money to burn on something like that.
Also don't see it fitting into this game.
Like Norman Redus from walking Dead, Sebastian from Evil Within etc.
I know it won't happen but if it would I would be set
I'd rather see my character fight instead of flight
I don't think this would fit with the lore of Evil Dead. But it's just my personal opinion. I think instead that Saber can expand and inflate the actual content with overhauls and tweaks. There's a lot they can do with what they already got. The HUGE interrogative is are still interested in this title.
What I found very disappointing since the very beginning is the totally lack of PR with the game community, roadmap, future plans. It's totally opposite what game companies usually do these days with games like this both for PvP and PvE.
This is totally a mistery to me.
If someone like Jason can enter ED's world, the others can too
I like that Evil Dead, F13, TCM all have a more focused direction instead of a mishmash of properties. And I don't think any of those games compete with each other, they all provide a different experience. So hopefully they haven't given up on more content for this game.
It's an Evil Dead game. That's what it should be.
I understand that like me you love horror movies and also you are not a kid anymare, same as me.
I think that the idea would fit in a different game. But would be interesting. Since I'm dev and I am looking for a crazy idea, I keep in mind every player's desiderata.
I'm generally not opposed to the idea, but for a separate game, not this.
Also, it's already losing players.

If it hadn't been given away for free it would already be dead.
Obviously this game would do better on Steam if they wouldn't make it an epic exclusive for 1 year, most people who were excited for ED already bought it
Evil Dead, on the other hand, is Evil Dead and that's exactly what it should stay like.
Pretty sure most people got it for free when it was given away on Epic (and PSN, I think). That's also most likely the reason the game isn't dead yet.
DBD was given away free on epic too, which filled it with hackers. Steam numbers were dropping pre-console release, and they dropped again after SBMM/Boon totems. They wen't from something like 80k down to 30k just from SBMM lol. It also regularly goes on sale for cheap on Steam.
People boycott epic exclusives, and Evil Dead is a year old.
DBD was the first of the his kind, simple mechanics, functional, packed a lot of fun. Sometimes less is better if you are not able to accomplish the task.
I do not understand this harsh criticism on DBD. The game works and it works great, survived the test of time and led the way. Without it and Hunt and the unlucky boy F13, we won't probably playing many other games like these.
Unlikely this game, you can't imagine how much effort and time are requested to master the game at a decent level.
Anyway me and other guys from other studios are working on an idea. It will go crowdfunding, but not soon. We are all maniac of these games, so we think (probably wrong) we learned something to how make something nice and fun to play.
Time will tell as always. But actually I'm curious to see if Texas Chainsaw will survive soloQ for more than 6 months in the actual state.
