No matter how slow I make sensitivity, it always slows itself down when doing very minimal movements which is some joystick movement stuff going on. Something is off and if it isn't acceleration then its something else
This game 100% has mouse acceleration. You can try the demo and see the difference for yourself, the demo has no mouse acceleration.
That's because they introduced mouse acceleration to the game when they released the patch that fixed the 60fps camera movement near launch.
If you don't notice it, consider yourself lucky. If you want to notice it, move your mouse slowly, pick up the speed gradually, and at a certain point the game will boost your mouse speed once you move the camera fast enough. Or rather slow enough, you don't have to move it too much. It's like slightly faster than fine aiming speed.
It seems like there are two speeds rather than a curve of some sort. It's "normal" speed when moving slow, and gets a boost of like 30% when you move it slightly faster. You can feel the mouse speed ramp up. It was the first thing I noticed when switching from the demo after buying. I even had to change my sensitivity settings because the aiming was so different from the demo.
No mouse accel.
It is. If you can't feel it then fine. But you're wrong.
I promise you that you're incorrect. I don't know why you're talking about DPI settings that doesn't matter. I'm talking about moving slow enough to reach a slow camera speed. Just move the camera slowly like 30 degrees of character rotation a second and feel it kick in. It's so obviously apparent I don't understand how you two aren't noticing it immediately. You've probably just learned to compensate for the wonky acceleration lol.
Edit: Just booted it up to check if it's been patched. The acceleration is still present in the full game. Checked the demo and again, no mouse acceleration at all. Choppy camera yes, but no mouse acceleration. That's because mouse acceleration was introduced to the game when they "fixed" the choppy camera movement.
