Report a translation problem
There's a picture frame next to the where you need to input the code, you need to look at the picture with the lantern out to see what image it shows, and there's a number on the frame of the picture that represents where in the combination that image goes.
Example: (Image of Cat), num on frame: IV.

The labrynth part is badly designed as well since there are no markers to figure out where to go or where you are. Actually getting lost is not good game design imo.
If you mouse-wheel through your weapons you can re-access the lantern.
