Sker Ritual
Disappointed.
All this time after Maid of Sker, which was a great game, we get some multiplayer COD zombie crap? Are you for real? This is about as bad as hearing the Killer Klowns game is gonna be nothing but asymmetrical throwaway garbage. Gaming has really become depressing these days.

Hey guys! Understand that you might be disappointed but Sker Ritual does have a story elements, plus a solo mode! So Sker Ritual won't be your average co-op game.

Sker Ritual is Maid of Sker's spirtiual successor but as for a direct sequel...watch this space. 😉

I don't have much to add, but you are spot-on with this post. Kinda tired of seeing horror games go the co-op/multiplayer/asymmetrical route. First game was excellent, then when you got done surviving the main campaign with lots of stealth, you can get into the challenge runs and shoot some creepy enemies. Would've preferred a sequel to expand on that, maybe go a bit closer to the RE formula if they wanted more combat this time around. Sadly gonna have to pass on Sker Ritual myself.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Why waste your time making yet another co op shooter that is destined to be forgotten as soon as it is released because the genre is absolutely saturated? Games like this need a decent sized player based to be successful and even huge names struggle to maintain one. Spend your time and resources on Maid Of Skier 2 instead.

I played this game solo it was fine solo just needed some updates and lore added i believe they took peoples feedback and put the game back a bit.

I not played first maid of sker but i really enjoyed demo of sker ritual and it was 100% fine solo. The creepy art style enemies and objectives where all fun to do and wepons where nice to use. I probley be picking this game up in future to play solo

I thought this was a FPS Survival Horror. Since when did they turn it into Killing Floor? I'm sure when I first wishlisted it this was not the same game...

I disagree, I played Maid of Sker but I hate this whole "Hide away and run away from enemies because muh scary monsters" in general. So this is more up my alley.

TBH we desperately need a new (and more generous/awesome) KF2 after what that game had become over the years (a blatant cash-grab with no end to Tripwire's greed in sight). I'm just hoping that Sker Ritual manages to stay afloat to become a superb co-op (like Deep Rock Galactic), with many maps (in addition to the announced four maps), sickening/gruesome cosmetics (hey, it is a horror-themed game after all) and fun gameplay.

I mean yeah. Killing Floor 2 was slapped together and thrown out too early. If this game actually has a decent amount of players I might buy it. A horror themed wave based shooter can always be fun, Killing Floor 1 was amazing.

For 12.5€/$15 I think the game is a must-buy. Such low price point is sure to draw many players in, just hoping the retention will be good for it to thrive through its EA period and beyond (still, I'll sure-as-hell clock over 15 hours, so it will most surely be worth the price).

I waited fifteen minutes for a single lobby to be filled and then quit.
You have failed if you cannot even fill your lobbies and rely on Discord or other communities to do your matchmaking for you.

I will refund this game despite it being incredibly fun.
Tho, I'm sure with actual investment, I will see the flaws I noticed immediately deepen to unaccapetable levels.

What a shame; this game is beautiful, gorey and macabre.

Also: what kind of moron made a game like this and include zero ability to text or voice comunicate?

Are you guys trolling.
