Think of the money as resources and we're back at the original concept. The islands aren't Mining/Production/Defense anymore, but just give a flat mining bonus and the production is for a specific type of good.
How much money does a captured island generate, and when does that money arrive? Do different island types generate more/less money? Is there any way to see what your current money generation is and what is generating it?
Edit: WAIT, no, on the left, over the outfitting/logistics screen, there are two small monitors. The right one gives you an economic overview.
But other than that: no idea.
I don't know how long the cycle is, but possibly something like a minute. Watching the economic terminal during a game would probably answer these questions.
Dang, the more I read the more I don't regret buying the game in this state - seems they even went 'cheap' on the manual. How do they develop a game and not create a way (a manual) to convey the game mechanics they created, to the player. Especially a game that even with multiple players requires sooo much micro???
It is really not cost efficient to take out a single seal with two IR missiles. This will definitely make me rethink my attack strategies.
