Right. I guess that's what I was getting at. Just because it can be played single player, does it mean it's good / fun as single player.
Only you can be the judge of that. But the answer to your question is yes it can be played single player.
The reason it could be considered unfriendly to single players is the moving from console to console to organise everything. It's not that big of a deal IMO.
Also the devs mentioned they may implement function key controls to get to the menus instead of walking to them.
