how playable is this game if you work a full-time job

i heard that there is raiding, is this a game where you log off to go to work and come back to your base being raided like rust?

Yes, or course you can harden your base by upgrading your defenses (ie brick doors, honeycombing, external walls, etc) but if an unemployed player is determined enough, they will get in regardless of your defenses.

I own the game and I'm still trying to figure that one out.
my only days off are the weekend and that's when the wipes happen it seems, weekly.

seems like a waste of my money tbh. maybe if the game had thousands of players, but it doesn't and it never will

i work a full time job self employed and managed a full wipe solo but i play mele games so kind of done alright pvp side, if your new tho to mele and dont know any mechanics etc your probably going to struggle mate as youll need to put the hours in to understand the pvp and so

You can play on a 3x server if you don't have that much time to grind for a base, or play a modded server in which raiding is only allowed certain hours of the day.

All 3 of my friends and myself work at the same company.
We started and stopped because we all have the weekends off like most blue collar people and that's when they do the weekly wipes, so.... yeah

Take that how you will. I just don't see how it's possible to work a 50-60 hour job and manage to enjoy this game to the fullest. We sure couldn't.

You can play on community servers like Presistent Renown, they don't do weekly wipes only if the server starts breaking from player construction etc which can take over a month, plus they give raid hours protection so you can only raid during peak player hours from 17:00 - 23:00 CEST time, so you are safe from these 3AM no-life offline raiders. https://discord.gg/Jf6UuP6KSf

Just live off the Gov't benefits of whatever country you live in. This game is more important than meaningless work.
