So what is the essence of this game?

It looks great I am a huge bannerlord/chivalry 2 fan and I'm curious how this game is built is it pvp focused or can I experience pve sieges/battles? fill ya boi in!

all about pvp. servers suck tho. they say 40ping or less for me then it end up being over double that

The game is really bad, 15 minutes in and I was ready for my refund. It's in a pre alpha state, so many issues in the 15 minutes, dont bother.

You get a stab, overhead, left and right attacks, and a parry which there is a small window of time to parry, you allso have morphs aswell

double the 40 ping? its not that bad. i play all games on 100 ping atleast with my mobile internet - PLAYABLE i would say

on other games yea its playable but with the level of jank this game has makes it very hard to play 80 to 100 ping

Welcome to early access

there's early access and then there's a playable game with near to no balance, with underperforming server hardware and developers who are playing it by ear with the community rather than having a concrete game in mind.

weekly wipes will be this game's death

edit: the balance I'm referring to is naked sweats with clubs taking on squads with Tier 3 armor and winning. it happens, it's on youtube. it's a far more rewarding approach

I see there is generally mixed feeling about it which lines up with the reviews on the store, a game with potential but in a relatively poor state despite early access (this of course will hopefully improve over time as it is early access)
So what content are we looking at is it like one said where it's rust? I mean alongside chiv gameplay and base building/raiding is there any pve content such as raiding npc's camps or having npc's come and attack you
Is there npc's in the world you can go and fight?

There are a number of NPC castles, villages and cottages that have NPCs of various levels and loot within.

I've played around 5 hours now and I find it fun. The combat system is pretty good and I like the world. If these devs keep at it, this could become a really good game.
