Deutsche Sprachausgabe und mehr...
With only English voice acting, the game will not be as successful as Command&Conquer once was. What a pity. I'm sad.

Is it the money?

My advise would be:
Give it a Pre-Order Version for german (maybe other voice acting too) and if you got enough pre orders on this special version, implement voice acting for this versions.
i would pre order for 100 EUR if the version implemented more than english and german voice acting.

I want this game to be an international success. but with only english it will not have the success that the game deserves.

----

I'm pretty sure the missing German audio in DOW3 was a major factor in its flop. The German RTS community is massive!

Yeah because a worldwide release fails because of a german RTS community, that is, lets be frank, not "massive".
DoW 3 failed because it appealed to no audience of the other games. It was neither a good RTT like DoW2 and not a good RTS like DoW1.
What was left was a mixed breed that only appealed to a very nicht audience and thus failed commercially.
The niche between RTS and RTT is tiny.

I have never seen a game fail due to a lack of localization.

Hey, good localization is cool and all, but in the grand scale, it doesnt cause a big effect to its sales.

The most funny thing is, that you think the german RTS community wouldnt buy games with only english voiceacting/language.
So if we took the entire RTS community in germany, its already not big compared to worlwide user numbers, but then again it would only be a fraction of that community, that does care about german localization.

Wrong, Germany has a significant gaming population, with around ~45 million gamers and RTS games a very popular there.
There's a strong preference for PC gaming in Germany, with 76% of gamers using PCs

I completely agree. With the addition of other languages, the game will be a success. I speak Russian, and in Russia there are a lot of people who play RTS

if localization was such a big factor of a W or L of a game's success, Rockstar should be bankrupt by now for not voice activing GTA series in anything else than English ^^

Do you have a source for ANY of those numbers? You're claiming over half of the German population are gamers.

Zu teuer.
And I don't need it.
I always use the original voice acting and a german ui in games.
The only exeption to this was borderlands 1 & 2, cuz i diddnt get the jokes often in english and the german voice acting was very good.
But in most games it sounds stupid and artificial and destroys the immersion for me.

My vote for German voice overs. I would pay more for it.

Actually a bit strange. Even the cheapest rts back in the good old days had full language synchronisation and germany is the biggest rts market.
Warum unklar.
