Deactivation of performance statistics

I have a bit weird problem: I activated the performance statistics yesterday and if I want to deactivate them today I just click it off and it doesn't work. The stats are shown.
I also set the variable in the localappdata-folder to false and this also does not work.

Someone of you have the same problem and maybe also a solution?

Forget it. I'm just an idiot. What I see was the OSD from GPU Tweak III.
Recognized it as I play another game and hat just the same OSD in this game as before in Tempest Rising. :D
