Should I still play this?
So a friend of mine shared me a thread about this game containing spyware. I decided to do a little digging and now I'm not sure if I should Uninstal. I like the game but why does a game that feels like it's primairly focused on single player need spyware?

If it contains "spyware" it would be the first I've heard of it. Care to share the article/source so the rest of us could check it out ourselves?

Ya that does sound a bit intrusive. I am thinking it is ostensibly for anti-cheat purposes though (except for the bit about sharing the info with 3rd parties).

Welcome to the 21st century.
separate gaming pc and work pc, install third party internet total security (don't trust windows defender). separate emails for work and entertainment. EVERYTHING now has "spyware". you haven't read windows facebook google eula.
Maybe It would play it, if the game cost 20 at minimun to be honest, just for the lols.

Thank god I don't use face book. I might still play this but I just stay away from Take2 games, Just look what they did to Borderlands, Risk of Rain and GTA. I'm not even gonna get BL4 or GTA6 anymore
no dont play its dying fast sadly player count dropped from 7k to 2500 or 3k max at some point. that means the game is to bare and not enough to entertain your self for hours.

i stopped playing also went to back to red alert 2 and others.
the units its only 2 sides you can pick. so its always the same units left or right,.

the maps well we have 10 or less wich is really boring no map generator nothing to play as gdf or dynasty on same map for hours with the same out come same units its fun for 1 day but not for a week.

so i lost intrest pretty fast and many more as i can see. lets hope big changes are coming soon or all the work they did last years would be a waste.
today the gaming industry and platforms you need to have many content and stuff or players will go looking at an other game. C&C came out at right time with not many gamers yet and not many games for pc, so rollercoaster and Command and conquer where gonna be a hit for sure.

if they would be released these days they would have a harder time to become all time loved games.
You live in Netherlands, GDPR protects you and overrules anything in EULA that conflicts. The devs are from Denmark, yet again they do not want to mess with GDPR. MY.GAMES (mentioned in EULA) is headquartered in Amsterdam, GDPR strikes again.

Literally almost game collect your data. Without data collection, we wouldn't be able to play games. You own a phone which is also "spyware" - You use google, which is also "spyware"
