Can someone please explain a couple things to me?
I didn't see this explained anywhere else, but:

1. What does "marked" mean? How does a unit get "marked"? How do you tell when a unit is "marked", in-game?

2. What is a "comms bonus"? What does it do? How does a unit get a "comms bonus"?

1 Units with a "Networked" passive work better against marked targets. Marked enemies also give you intel when they die. When unit gets marked they have an icon pop up above them for a few seconds.
2 Its just an aura effect some units have that gives attack speed bonus to other surrounding units.
Both can be seen in unit's profile when you click on them.

All of it should've been explained in "tips" that pop up on the left side of the screen in the campaign.
Worth noting that there's a detail stat and effects screen when you hover over the unit portrait in the bottom left, that should have some deets for you.
1. debuff enemies but only for units that have network. Unit gain network near comm unit. 1st tier units that can marked: field scout (mine), sentinel scout car.

2. buff units but some buff only works for enemies that are marked. Units that have comms: DCU, Comms Officer, Comms Rig (in Comms mode).

See GDF doctrine list for further upgrade on comm and marked.
Thanks guys

I think I must have missed some of the pop up tips or something.. probably because there's no time to read as there isn't a pause and I also hate pop ups in general :p

I think the most important tip I learned from this is the following from the wiki:

"Comms can be provided to Harvesters, increasing income rates dramatically.[4]"
