Dynasty lack synergy.
Compared to GDF, Dynasty don't have anything that's really impactful or naturally synergistic.

Their vehicles are slow and have poor range (Pillagers are actually worthless), don't really do much in terms of things like siege/stealth/disabling, no good healing options for infantry in the field, very poor range of defences that are outranged by almost everything. The only real strategy they have is overcharge and spam vehicles with a salvage van and hope that your opponent doesn't know how to press buttons.

GDF on the other hand has very good defences, extremely powerful siege, ability to create carrier-vans with drones in them, marking to increase combat abilities, networking to FURTHER increase abilities, comms to FURTHER FURTHER increase abilities, two VERY powerful VERY long range defence options (Haywire Launcher, Tempest Artillery) that can shut down unit spam fairly decently, anti-infantry humvee to compliment anti-vehicle drone (that can be garrisoned in them to be anti-everything). Trebuchets are actually stupidly strong (and stupidly cool).

There's so much that works well together. Dynasty are just....lacking in that flavour that really makes the GDF really interesting to play as.

Broadly agree DYN is more about gimmicks and less about synergy compared to GDF. Also agree it feels really bad to have turrets outranged by even basic MBTs (with Marking) There is some synergy though.

Main one is the healing auras (Field Infirmary, Salvage Van, Machinist) with Tempest Dynamos (Havoc in MP, Leveler, Assault Gunner, Physicist, Voltaic Tank). Have healers at the back, press Dynamos, watch things explode.

Another is Tempest Charge Detonation. Mostly Machinist with Voltaic Tank or Sensor Array with Voltaic Turret. Build Tempest Charge and zap.

The current strong lategame one is Leveler Dragonfly. 5000 range artillery chopper with 4000 range anti air chopper. Nothing can get close to them once they're massed.

One to watch for is Assault Gunner with Tempest Sphere. Assault Gunner brings the range, slow and AA, Tempest Spheres in front do the tanking and squish vehicles slowed by Assault Gunners' shots. Right now it's kinda weak because Tempest Spheres are so slow (even basic infantry will outrun it without Assault Gunners' slow!) but they're getting a buff next patch.
