CAMPAIGN BUG - Doctrine Points Reset

While playing the GDF campaign, I used the Doctrine Point reset button to redistribute my points. However, after reaching the eighth mission when I should have received another reset opportunity, I instead ended up with -1 reset points.

I'm not sure if this bug is already known to the developers, but I hope it gets fixed soon. In the meantime, does anyone know of a temporary workaround to recover or reset the doctrine points?

Generally, loading previous missions really destroys this whole system, because I happened to have -3 doctrine points and -2 doctrine reset points, so something is pretty messed up there
