Crash + lost profile and savegames
I experienced several crashes while playing GDF mission 4. Computer suddenly shuts down and it's not possible to restart it immediately. It stays in standby for a while, with fans running at full speed, and I have to wait a few minutes before I can turn it on again. It seems an overheating issue, perhaps caused by the CPU which seems overloaded compared to the GPU (I believe the game doesn't fully use the GPU).

However, in order to work around this issue, I've tried to run in DX11 mode and the surprise... all my savings and profile are gone and I cannot load them in the game, even though all data is still saved in local folder and Steam cloud. It seems they just cannot by retrieved while playing.

Any suggestion for those issue? Game and drivers are update.

Either your case's cooling is too weak for your system, or there was a power loss or loose connection. Maybe check your PSU's connections (unplug and replug them—all of them).

As for the save games: I suppose they are damaged by that sudden shutdown. I don't think you can do much about that. Maybe look for the files, create a new profile, and copy the savegames over? Dunno if that works/helps.

A bluescreen is usually not the result from "overheating". Your PC goes dark in an instant.

Water cooling + 12 fans in your case, and you think your system is overheating? Either you're making things up here, or you messed up your cooling royalty.

In another thread, you claim you would have a 5090 (not a 5080) and run into an error typical for Intel CPUs of Gen 13 + Gen 14. That's not a bluescreen but an error message.

I kind of think you're mixing things here. Your system is probably not overheating, but your firmware is buggy. I would strongly recommend that you update your BIOS (just load your BIOS up, look for firmware updates (or something like that), and check if there is a "search for updates button". It should then do everything for you). This might already fix the error message AND your blue screen.
