Dynasty temple mission bugged [steal fire from the gods]

I played this mission on insane and it took way to long but eventually I managed to take out the generator and push down the final base. I then lose because nobody told me to spend 10 minutes building static defense and an optimised army so I can hold off the absurd armies being teleported in.

Anyway I load an old safe and am absolutely thrilled to discover that for some reason the shield in every single safe including the automatic one made after taking down the second base now has an invisible barrier neither me nor my enemy can pass. All saves are effectively broken as it is now impossible to finish the mission.
