Questions about multiplayer options

Hey all got a couple questions

1) Can I host a private multiplayer match with my friends ?
2) What is the multiplayer limit? up to 4, 6, 8?
3) Are there team battle options such at teams 1, 2, 3, 4, etc?
4) Can I battle against AI in multiplayer matches?

Yes

4 is the max player count in skirmish, there's 3 maps with 4 players max.

Yup. So in a 4 player map, each player can be their own team for example.

As in you and a friend against AI? Yes that's available in skirmish, unless you mean something else.

Thanks for answering my questions. I am disappointed the multiplayer is limited to 4 though, I wish it went up to 8.
