After many attempts and updates of the graphics card and Windows, the game keeps crashing. Luckily, there are currently no more bluescreen crashes (when using DX11). Here is the error message. What else can I do?

Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000400000025

I keep getting the same message. Not sure why though cause I've played the demo with no problems. Hopefully someone has a solution

The fact there's a Kernel mention in the Error suggests some sort of conflict. This is potentially with the drivers. Ensure Windows and Display drivers are updated first and foremost. Ensure also that any third party firewalls and anti-virus are given full access to the game, as this may also be conflicting with the game.

If your CPU is Intel, most likely your CPU is dying. That access violation error is actually caused by CPU.

Ask Intel or the seller for the replacement.

(If you really want to be sure, watch this video to verify your CPU is degrading: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7Eyv5d2Rq8 )

No, the PC has an AMD Ryzen 5 CPU, not an Intel.
I still have to check the antivirus and firewall. My friend has the same antivirus program, and funnily enough, it works there.
I've also written to support, I'll keep you updated if they find out anything else, greetings

Did you play the Demo/Beta? This seems to cause issues for other users. Not sure if it can cause such a crash, but while waiting for the support to reply, here's a description from the devs on how to remove leftovers:

Somebody else claimed that this would be the solution to your error:

Hope something helps.
