Skirmish AI Easy (but hard)
Maybe im just used to C&C where the easy bot would just defend there base and from time to time send troops to attack me, a bit more relaxing gameplay, but this AI Easy is swarming my base and attacking before i even have a chance to build up. Maybe tweak it to be a little bit easier.

If you are a C&C player like me, be prepared for a much stronger AI. The Tempest Rising AI is very aggressive, because they expect and want you to come out an fight, not to turtle back (Which is a losing strategy here) So play more aggressive, if you want to compete against the Normal and Hard AIs. .
Yeah they need to tweak it. It was like this in the multiplayer demo too, was hoping they tuned it a bit more.
Play 2vs1 in skirmish. You and one easy AI vs one easy AI. Then you can really play slowly and learn the mechanics.

yea but im not looking to be aggressive and finish the skirmish with 5mins, im looking to relax and build up strength, take my time sending waves of tanks or only sending troops or seeing how i can defend my base to make it the ultimate fortress of death. Maybe its fun for most people to play a skirmish game that way but when its set to EASY, i dont want to get rushed and destroyed within 6mins of the game.

It isn't balanced. Just like it was in the beta, and the demo... the units are paper tigers. To compensate this, you will be spamming tanks and artillery defenses against the AI's seemingly endless amount of funds.

Edit: With this being known for several iterations, I do not expect a balancing fix unless massive backlash. This is also saber....we may get updates far and few between after launch.

"Seemingly endless" meaning the exact same amount that you have? If you let the AI have the ENTIRE map then yes, it seems seemingly endless because you gave up all resources. The AI chokes pretty badly once you play at a semi-decent level.

1vs1 vs Normail AI, GDF vs GDF on a smal map, I beat normal AI , like in 9 minute.

Guess with right build order and units, you can probably beat normal AI a lot faster then me.

I'm not sure if you're new to the RTS-genre but in *most* RTS games the AI cheats as the difficulty either provides them with increased HP/DPS or increased funds for them to field units faster than the player. This is RTS 101.

AI in this game doesn't cheat with money or production speed. This has been confirmed by developer themselves and the players observation since the demo.

AI pump out more unit faster than you because they expand and build a base around every resource location and at every new base, they will create additional unit production facility. If you only turtle in your start location, you will get steamrolled pretty fast.

Some people haven't noticed this, but this game also has its own version od "oil derricks" which generate money over time. AI will always go capture all of these in their expand.

Dynasty has better defences especially due to repair truck. U can easily hold base with turrets and a repair Trick behind each hotspot .
But overall. They nerfed turtleling. Turrets do much less dmg overall compared to old tests. Its fine imo.

Are they adding more maps in Skirmish? and some 3v3 ?

There’s no word on post launch support atm, we should get some news on a roadmap after the ‘release’ on the 24th. Keep an eye on the news section.

It’s safe to assume they’ll add more maps, tho 5+ player maps we’ll wait and see. It’s obvious the players are limited due to engine limitations and optimisation, since that’s a reason why we have a pop cap.

I’m interested in seeing how the game performs in a big battle between 4 players, to confirm this.

If you play on aggression, then the enemy Hard AI will die after 5 minutes from the beginning of the mission:)
