Difficulty is too hard
I think playing on Easy should be easy,but this game is too hard. Enemys are fast as hell building non stop Units and kills you after few minutes on easy.
Pls fix that.
There are also big Balance issues in MP ,
first game i was rushed by 3 rocket-jeeps even my towers in my base had not the range to shoot theese launchers so they could easyly take one building after another and i had no chance.
Also the Infantry units all seem useless, just the medic is too overpowered and cannot be killed even with multiple units they shoot him but he takes not much damage while the enemy kills your units in no time.

Make the game easyier in EASY and BALANCE the Ranges of towers and the Medics pls!!!!

Slow down the gameplay,i dont want to rush 5 minutes games just like the one who is 2 seconds faster will win this sucks! theres no strategy in rushing 3 rocket jeeps into enemys base...

The only people who want to nerf it are those whose brains are only good for scrolling TikToks.
i grew up playing many rts games and i have to say the skirmish ai is absolutely insane, easy i can handle (theyre still a bit wild with the spam) but normal is rolling my ass, i cant even imagine what the hard ai does, idk what the devs did to this but the ai is TOO good lol

same strategy as with all RTS games... you need to build 2 - 4 mineral gathering buildings ASAP when mission starts, or else the opponent will overwhelm you in long run

Beat with both Dynasty and GDF skirmish at Hard
GDF story I'm almost done at Insane difficulty, can't say for the other faction story

Difficulty is on point, I tried vs 3 AI at Easy for the 1vs3 achievement and won
Absolutely no way people find Easy hard at all, enemy is basically harmless

Even won as GDF vs DYN, setting starting credits at 20k, without building any rafinery and spamming just Drones going directly Barracks....

Actually, that's the textbook example and literal way you learn and the benchmark with which you learn...

You just haven't figured out how to play yet.
Just a friendly reminder that as of this moment less than 16% of players have beaten mission six (GDF) on any difficulty, based of the achievements listings. Skill issue or not, you are going to lose players if they can't complete campaign mode. Easy mode --should be easy--. The entire point of adding difficulty systems was to make the game more accessible, While it's nice that there are several loud supporters of not making the game easier, there are 84% of the players unable to beat story mode on the GDF side of things at the moment and that is a problem. Realistically, the amount is much smaller than this, given that there's always a percentage of players who just drop the game midway and there's of course the percentage just still in the process of beating it, but this is still an alarming amount of players that haven't completed mission six.

The solution to this always seems to be "Well, build a rush build instead of turtling." and yet every time this argument pops up in every RTS game there's a large portion of players that prefer turtling. so there're no shortage of players that wish to play this way (because it's more fun for them that way, even if it's not generally an effective PVP strategy). Why are we shutting this large-ass group of players out while RTS as a genre dies in a ditch due to lack of interest?

Am I going to go through the trouble of developing a rush strategy when in general when I have no plans of even getting into PVP? Probably, because I REALLY want to find out how the story ends, but I suspect a larger portion of players don't have the patience to completely change their gameplay style when all they want to do is enjoy the story. More importantly, at this point I would support making a more relaxed mode, at least for story mode, just so that I don't have to read through this exact, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ argument AGAIN.
Personally, in Skirmish I find Hard difficulty too easy. There needs to be a harder option.
But you're right. A lot of players want to chill and build a cool base. There needs to be an easier option too.

Anyone telling you to "get better" or "it's not that type of game" is just completely wrong. It IS that type of game. A huge chunk of the playerbase of original C&C or Age of Empires or any RTS games play them almost like they're city-builders and that's fine...

The AI is almost doing nothing on easy. Either ragebait or you went afk for 20 minutes during the game.
I played a FFA VS 3 easy AIs, and if you poke them while they are not attacking, they will send there whole massive army at you. Which is a thing i will let you know, but since i mainly play GDF, that stuff dies to my aty. But point is if you turtle and dont attack the ai too much, they will make a big force and afk with it, till you trigger it.

And when it does attack, sometimes its 2 tanks, and sometimes its 9 tanks and infantry.
It attacks you when you are weak, since it can see when your main force is gone. It acts in many ways like the age of empires 4 AI. Expect aoe4 AI was busten for a long while, been unable to attack, and just afked.

If this game is too hard for you you are just bad. Normal mode is already incredibly easy. i can ony imagine how easy easy is lol

Go to a gym and try to press 500 pounds. Easy for the big guys pressing even more. Impossible for the new guys. Learn to look down already.
And I'm playing on hard and it is absolutly awesome.
I think only amateurs and people who only have brains for scrolling tiktok want to nerf...

I don't think that the game is too hard, at all.

I'm definitely not good in PVP and never have been. I was stuck in silver forever in SC2 and even knocked back and fourth between bronze an silver a few times.

I'm in my late 40s. I just beat the game on normal difficulty with the dynasty faction, but found the GDF faction a lot more challenging for some reason. In fact the 4th mission took me 3 hours to beat due to making mistakes and learning from them.

The first few hours were the hardest because I had to just get used to the pacing and keybinds. After that the game got a lot easier. I don't mind losing though, I enjoy a challenge and I don't like any game that I can beat without putting effort it. If I just want to click and watch a winning screen then I could just watch people play it, I don't get satisfaction from just winning alone, and if I was one of those types of people who can't stand losing then I'd probably just download cheats or whatever. I sure as hell wouldn't try to convince people that the game is too hard and try to make the devs change it.

Some people will think a game is too easy, some will think its too hard, but making the game "great for everyone" is a game "great for no-one"

If you are struggling with the game, just keep trying. It feels so much better when you win that way.
i just played mission 5 GDF and one thing was starting to annoy me, the enemy can just spawn attacks wherever it wants without a base and seems to zone in automatically on wherever i have no forces it does feel a bit cheap but it's more annoying than difficult for me though. i kind of feel that in most cases the enemies should only come from structures on the map that you can destroy and stop those attacks, when it's off map without a spawn theres nothing you can do about it except trying spam units all over the map but the game doesn't feel like its built for that.
I'm playing the game on hard and I have no problems.
