my GPU usage never goes above 40% either so clearly there's some CPU issues with the game right now?
i see the fps dips to like 30 fps alot when there is alot of units on screen attacking like it cant handle it
I'm getting 40-50 FPS playing at 4K on the "epic" preset, when playing a mission (getting about triple that if I play in 1080p). The 3D cut scenes, however, often start out as a slide show and then the game crashes shortly afterwards. So I've got into the habit of lowering the resolution to 1080p before a cut scene, which then plays fine, and then setting it back to 4K once I'm loaded into the map.
No frame generation or ray tracing for me, of course, with such an old card.
exact same experience for me, really odd! didn't happen in the skirmish demo at all
i had an experience very similar to Paladestar above ^ in the demo version before launch, so clearly something has gone wrong for ryzen 7 5700x3d chips specifically (or ryzen in general)
game is otherwise great but oof, those fps dips
Game is running flawlessly for me at 1080p Medium. If there's issues running it I suggest lowering the resolution and settings and making sure your drivers are up to date.
All drivers updates and was running fine in demo.
Seems unreasonable on i9-9900/7900XTX, something is really wrong here. The CPU is old, sure, but my system runs FAR more demanding games at 100+.
