Unable to use frame generation?

Hey all,

So far I'm really enjoying the game but for some reason I'm unable to turn on frame generation despite having a 40-series card and using it with no problem in other games. Does anyone know if this is an acknowledged issue or have any idea how to fix it? Thanks!

I have the same issue. This game is running on DX11. That is why FG can't be enabled. It would be nice to get some information why DX12 isn't available.

Have not tried this, and not at computer to test now.
Is it possible FG is only for FSR, for example ? This has happened before.

i have turned on fsr3 and it shows its there but you cant use it

you can try enableing it in C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Tempest\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings
open with notepad++ look for bFrameGenerationEnabled=False and try bFrameGenerationEnabled=True see if it works for you

Digital Foundry video showed pop up launch option where you choose to run DX 12 or 11. But I don´t see it anywhere, could we get some clarification on this please ?
