Only 2v2 skirmish? Why?
Are there plans to add more modes 3v3 4v4?

Only 2v2 is a real deal breaker.

they have a maximun population of 200, so imagine Unreal Engine trying to hold 8 players in the same map with maximun pop

I love this engine
If it's just 2v2 then I have no interest in buying this.

Because they choose Unreal Engine 5 an engine not made for RTS

good dont
Yeah as an og RA scrimshier, I had the deluxe copy wishlisted for awhile. 2v2 limitation is wild and 4v4+ will require a level of testing (and optimization) they're probably not willing to commit to post launch.

Poof, unwishlisted and call me when it hits 80% off. Already waited 20 years.

Real damn shame too

C&C Generals and zero hour had more player in multiplayer, 4vs4
Some of the wargames RTS have 10vs10

2vs2 is way too less, imagine if 1 player quits, the game is over

multiplayer is a let down

Why release a game on an engine not made for RTS? To show off graphical capabilities? RTS doesn't have to be amazing, with RT and other bells and whistles. It has to support large maps, many units and many players. Can't anyone make a decent RTS anymore?

The company that made the game only know how to work with UE5, its a flashy engine but its just that.. flashy. I really hope they have a roadmap that can convince me to buy it.

Bare in mind, developers don't always have a choice what engine they are using. I don't know the details in this instance, but there are many stories of publishers telling the dev team they need to use a specific engine for their next games and it ends up causing more hardship than anything else.

I believe that they may add 3v3 and 4v4 in future.

Is this true? I thought the pre-release materials said this was "as close to as unlimited" as your PC could get, just like the old RA?
2v2 only is crazy. I was looking forward to this game too. Guess I will just keep playing Warno until Broken Arrow comes out

I prefer more players but 2v2 max isn't that bad and I still play it for singleplayer. You all don't even have friends to play with anyway.

That's disappointing was about to get 5 copies but now i'll pass if it's only 2 v 2.
