3 factions at launch or not?

We announced back in April of 2024 that we would be delaying the playable release of our 3rd faction in order to polish up the product more by launch.

Yeah but the third is what, a DLC? Or are you launching it as a proper third faction, at some point?

Yeah def waiting for all factions to get there, There's going to be a giant difference between "in 3 months" and "Whenever"

Wait, you're advertising the game as having three factions and then have the gall to fully release it while one of these three factions isn't even in it (yet)? Holy effing hell. EA, Blizzard and Co. took decades to get as greedy as they are today, but you're apparently going for a speedrun award. The more I read about this "release", the less likely I become to buy the game, which sucks. I was really looking forward to it.

Yeah, this was what puzzled me too. Advertizes 3... something about only 2 but no early access or no roadmap? Even the dev above can't even confirm when/if it gets out? Yeahhhhhhhhh nope

So it's more of an early access right now and not an early unlock of the full game as advertised.

Campaign seems fine from all the reviews I've watched but skirmish / multiplayer is definitely early access. Only 2 of 3 factions available, only 9 maps, only 1v1 and 2v2 game modes, ...

But is the third faction still going to be part of the actual base game or will it be sold as DLC? Because you didn't answer that either. It's misleading to put it as a feature on the store page if it will be sold as DLC so i think it's fair for people to expect an answer to that question at least.

oh, then i will definitely wait with my purchase if that isn't clear. was sorta going to get it today.
