It's fun, but...
... pretty frustrating too. In the current build, units get stuck in terrain - and I wish they'd stay put as ordered, instead of running to their death like a bunch of lemmings. I like some of the ideas - drones etc., but I just want to be able to get a bit more control tactically. I've loved RTS games since Dune II when it was first release, so I'll definitely wish-list the game and watch out for a deal, but the demo hasn't convinced me to pre-order it.

I believe there's a command in the 'commands bar' in the bottom that includes a stay put order, at least I rmb being able to do that in a previous demo.

But yea the pathing in some maps is very jank. Wish they'll have at least some maps that are very flat and open. It's been documented these kinda maps are still fun and strategic. The most played MP map in KW comm-patch is a flat one.

Like most RTS games they do have a hold position command, however, where most games have this on the [H] key, Tempest Rising has this on the [G] key.
