So yesterday I ended up playing with 2 other AI GDF bots (normal) against !one! DYN bot (Normal) and the two GDF bots were quickly defeated. I will therefore not be buying the game.
GDF can also expand using the Beacon ability. It costs $1200 I think, as well as some Intel points. The AI doesn't seem very good at using this facility though.
Edit: There's also the level 3 doctrine that gives the deployed Comms Rig some build-radius projection.
Edit 2: Each GDF refinery can also be individually upgraded to generate a good amount of passive income.
With GDF, I struggle to win skirmish games, while with DYN, I can win reliably. The economy is simply so much easier to set up/so much more powerful, while basic infantry is easier to use and mass (and rocket troopers feel much more powerful than drone operators).
The doctrine has to be researched first and it's level 3! Everything is half-baked. The passive income at the refinery also requires an upgrade and only works quite late in the game. The problems are fundamental. That's what I've been saying all along. Balancing doesn't help either. But I already noticed that in the previous demos.
As a final argument: The game comes from the USA. I don't want to support this regime with the orange mad man.
