Anti structure - GDF
I lost every single Normal difficulty match until i switched to DYN and steamrolled first time, i feel like this is because DYN has heaps of anti structure units and the only anti structure unit i can think of that GDF has are grenadiers, who when faced with flamethrowers probably get owned... Do GDF have any other anti structure units?

Well if you can build condor and queller from GDF airfield. Both of them is pretty effective damage dealers.
3 condors will destroy construction yard in single attack and they can go stealth(of course both of them pretty high tier unit :( but worth their price) And do your best for early expansion as GDF. Two expansion in single time might be hard but its pretty awesome if you can defend them. I agree grenadiers is pretty effective versus DYN ; in my experience groups of grenadiers can hold themselves quite good against flame turret. Normally i used them in combination of sentinel + hunter tank. Skip drone operators because they are still bugged.

Yeah, still i feel like GDF need an anti structure ground vehicle adjacent to the flame tank that DYN has... seeing as after 4 or 5 games(normal) 1v1 vs DYN playing as GDF i lost every time... the first match i played as DYN vs GDF i won(normal), pretty easily... Dyn is just straight up superior at this point imo. I only consistently win against DYN as GDF on easy

Another problem is energy requirement and the needs for intel as GDF. Remember GDF refinery needs energy while DYN rig does not need energy. If you can stomach keyboard shortcut it will make controlling base much more easier and faster. Just need to get used to control several bases at the same time then you will be ready to face several DYN base at hard difficulty or even jump at multiplayers. Do your best.

Tempest Rigs do require Power.

Edit: regarding anti-structure units, the GDF have access to the Drone Operator and the Grenadier relatively early as anti-building units. While the Hunter Tank and Sentinel are not anti-structure, Hunters gain tremendous bonus range and damage when attacking targets that Sentinels Mark, and in fact outrange tier 1 defenses with this boost enabled. If you choose to research the Riot Pod at the Satellite Uplink, you can get the Riot Van which while mostly anti-infantry, can be loaded with Drone Operators whose Drones stay outside the vehicle and can be used as mobile strike forces.

GDF Skycranes are transport helicopters and also can accommodate Drone Ops or Engineers, which the GDF can use to steal Dynasty buildings or Tempest Rigs (as long as the Tempest Rig is unpacked and its wheels are mining Tempest).

The GDF also have several Tier 3 anti structure units like the Trebuchet, Scrambler, and Condor.

Grenadiers and Trebuchets deal a lot of damage to buildings. GDF has better anti-building than DYN, as Flame Tanks are somewhat expensive and they do not deal that much damage to buildings unless in a group.

Grenadiers, on the other had, are easy to mass and very good against buildings.

Really ? I got the info from this site https://tempestrising.fandom.com/wiki/Tempest_Rig. I guess this one outdated. Also please check drone operators loaded into skycrane. I think something was affecting the drones.

In the demo, drones can get caught on terrain, this will be fixed in future builds.

I used grenadiers. Works for me at least.

Yes, Grenadiers are currently good vs anything taht does not fly, the caveat being the short range and low rate of fire.
