Patch Summary
Rebalancing some of the Tier 1 units
We have already tweaked the Sentinel, but the performance of the Hunter, Pillager, and Havoc also have a big impact on the dynamics of the early game, and we wanted to give these units some attention.
Cheaper to hit Tier 2 units
Additionally, we are making it cheaper to hit Tier 2, which will hopefully increase access to units like the Riot Trooper, Comms Rig, Salvage Van, and Boar Tank.
Buffing Riot Trooper, Riot Medic, Drone Mauler, and Tempest Sphere
The Riot Trooper and Riot Medic will be somewhat more lethal against infantry now, the Drone Mauler should be more worth his cost, and the Tempest Sphere should survive frontal assaults more effectively.
Cheaper to unlock Doctrines
We wanted to experiment with opening up Doctrine usage a bit by making them cheaper and quicker to research and hope that this will lead to more matches where players are making full use of Doctrines.

Balance Changes
Global
  • Tier 1 and 2 Doctrines reduced to 800 Credits and 40 seconds (from 1000 Credits and 60 seconds)
  • Tier 3 and 4 Doctrines reduced to 1500 Credits and 60 seconds (from 2000 Credits and 80 seconds)
  • Tier 5 and 6 Doctrines reduced to 3000 Credits and 80 seconds (from 4000 Credits and 120 seconds)

GDF
Barracks
  • Build time increased to 17 seconds (from 13)
Hunter Tank
  • Attack speed improved to 3.2 seconds (from 3.5)
  • Health increased to 560 (from 550)
Satellite Uplink
  • Build time reduced to 20 seconds (from 25 seconds)
  • Cost reduced to 1300 (from 1500)
Grenade Turret
  • Range increased to 2800 (from 2650)
Engineer
  • Health decreased to 90 (from 100)
Riot Trooper
  • Stun Baton damage increased to 15 (from 5)
  • EMP Grenade range increased to 1400 (from 1300)
Riot Medic
  • LRAD Riot Cannon damage increased to 20 (from 10)
  • Health increased to 620 (from 550)
Comms Officer
  • Damage reduced to 50 (from 80)
Queller
  • Health increased to 900 (from 850)
  • JUDGE Laser range increased to 2000 (from 1800)
  • 20mm Rotary Cannon range increased to 1800 (from 1650)
Drone Mauler
  • Mauler Cannon damage increased to 80 (from 45)
  • Networked Mauler damage increased to 110 (from 90)
Trebuchet
  • No longer gains health from the Investment Durability Doctrine as it does not cost Intel
Refinery Storage Pod
  • Now gives 25 Credits per 5 seconds as intended, instead of inadvertently giving more

Dynasty
Tempest Rig Refinery
  • Resistances changed to Vehicle type (from Building type) - this will make it more vulnerable to tanks and less vulnerable to fire and explosives
Barracks
  • Build time reduced to 16 seconds (from 20)
Pillager
  • Health reduced to 600 (from 630)
  • Range reduced to 1400 (from 1500)
  • Build time increased to 32 (from 30)
  • Damage reduced to 45 (from 50)
Flame Turret
  • Range increased to 2800
Havoc
  • Attack speed improved to 2.2 seconds (from 2.5)
Radar Station
  • Cost reduced to 1500 (from 1800)
  • Build time reduced to 20 seconds (from 27 seconds)
Barracks Infirmary Upgrade
  • Cost reduced to 1500 (from 2000)
  • Time reduced to 30 (from 60)
Tempest Sphere
  • Health increased to 2000 (from 1800)

I just played another match earlier - LITERALLY the exact SAME THING that happened last week, the AI rushes like crazy, i had 25 tanks made to set up and like 20 turrets for defense + 15 soldiers.

ALL of them got obliterated, the whole damn match lasted 18 minutes in total - i even put the starting money from 7K to 10K and still no difference.

You just lost a sale from me - if you don't want to add multiple difficulties or BALANCE units properly then i am NOT buying this game, i don't care how much you market this as a COMMAND & CONQUER successor because it literally is NOT THAT.

i mean it really is. Just because you refuse to learn how to play doesn't make it a bad game. Sounds like a huge you problem. From the sounds of it, you are defending and spending all ur money on defence, that never really gets you anywhere in lots of rts.

Maybe if you took the time to learn how to play, you could realise you can control most of the map in under 10min. so 18 min, its honestly quite far into a game. You should have pushed out of ur starting zone by then at at the min have two bases going.

Just be aware if you ever increase the starting resources in any RTS it means the opponent will rush sooner since it means its easier to set up their initial eco to snowball into an earlier army.

It's ok if you aren't good in these types of games, sometimes it takes more commitment or effort to learn to play. That doesn't make you a bad person, but you should at least have a small amount of awareness and realise it's not necessarily the game's fault because you don't want to put in the effort to understand.

I make 3 turrets and can defend a Tank Rush. I have to wonder how the hell you are losing to that.

And yes, this is a C&C successor, and all the things you complain about are LITERALLY BASIC C&C GAMEPLAY.

I don't know man... believe me i wish i knew... i had defensives set up, even had an army of 25 tanks that i was planning to send out at one point.

Everything got OBLITERATED in like 2 runs by the AI - the 25 tanks i had... i ended up sending 10 of them cuz 15 were wiped out in the damn assault the AI made.

The AI is building and gathering an army at a ridiculously fast rate on Normal in my opinion, i have NEVER encountered it like this back in the C&C games.

At this point for the 40 euro price tag it is, that's all i care about, i probably won't even bother with skirmishes.

No, they have confirmed nothing. To be fair, all 4 campaign maps we got to play previously, were quite easy.

Hopefully not, DYN already harvests all over the map as it is, and I play DYN a lot.

They can already dominate teh midgame with infinity factories as it is.
