Is this the spiritual successor to Generals Zero Hour??
For those who have played it just curious, really hoping. General is my favorite RTS of all time then COH1. Thanks for anyone who knows. Yes, I have heard Zero hour now has workshop support. Plan on playing again once a major patch is issued by the community for modern systems support. Just wish EA would have done a remaster. Love the modding community but lets face it stuff they do is not usually on par with professionals. COH1 or Generals remaster would have sold a butt load... not sure why no one is doing either.

Tempest Rising a spiritual successor to the Command & Conquer franchise.
It is less C&C Generals and more C&C Tiberian Sun / Tiberium Wars.

Gotcha, still fun games though. The early C&C games were all good, I guess that has to do with the developers that worked there at the time.

3) .....C&C Red alert is good,
2) .....C&C Generals Zero Hour is great!
But....
1) C&C Kane's wrath is the absolute best.

If this game is as good as any of the 3 I'll be super happy. I love all 3 of the games you listed.

THIS!

My all time favorite was Tiberium Sun.
But if this game is as good as any C&C game, i'm in!

No, Tempest Rising is not the spiritual successor to Generals Zero Hour, Red Alert 2 or other specific C&C game.

Tempest Rising is using C&C game formula, so if You like C&C Generals,
It is likely that you will enjoy this. Just do not expect Generals 2.

Love COH3, if it had some type of single player/skirmish stat recording like COH1 or COH2 I would say it may be the best in the series. I really miss the wins/losses and ranks of 1 and the ranking of 2. Skirmish/comp stompers get no ranks unless they do the co-op option but there you cannot pick your map or varied difficulty etc... it's missing the freedom to play like you want.
