I played the demo and unfortunately, I don't think the game will be that good. It does have a lot of great elements, but there are many things that need to be fixed and added. some things really bothered me like how even the lowest ranking soldier can destroy your tank fast af O_o oh and speaking of tanks there’s barely any variety in vehicles i mean there might be only one useful tank and one useful vehicle, while the rest are completely useless!!!!

Honestly I’m pretty disappointed but maybe the campaign will be interesting.

You do know the demo is missing most units right? And units having a low shelf life is a cnc staple. Unit counters can destroy their intended targets very fast.

Honestly, I’m just looking forward to a fun rts like the old days… it does not have to be amazing, just fun. I’ve usually just been the CnC player that just builds a large army and throws them at the enemy base lol

The game gives me the old rts game feeling and I enjoyed the demo so far. Sure the cutscenes are not amazing, but they’re okay. Somehow they give me OG StarCraft vibes 😄

I appreciate your povs but you need to consider that QoL will be implemented later, also thanks to our feedbacks. so I do not think is fair to judge a game before final release. end of the day these config are just numbers in the code

Hey guys, I think we’ve drifted off-topic here. The main point was getting a Mac version, especially for Apple silicon (M1 and newer).

Personally, I’m all in for Mac gaming. Given how powerful Apple silicon is, having Tempest Rising on Mac should be a no-brainer. RTS fans using Macs deserve some love too! Fingers crossed the devs make this happen.

I'd love to see a Mac OS version of this game. I mostly play a lot of SC2 and would be delighted to have some variety.

This is more of a band aid solution mate also not everyone has a stable internet connection, and it only lets you play for up to an hour I think? oh and for example, I usually go study at the library, and the internet there isn’t great + I doubt it could handle the game without the quality dropping to nintendo switch levels lol.... but hey thanks for the suggestion
