Lose that friggin ball, the Tempest Sphere
I really dont like this idea, maybe better have a heavy tank or mech instead. Imagine all the cool units you could have brought up! Instead you get a stupidly OP ball...

You don't know what you are talking about!

The Dynasty is preserving the cultural heritage of 3D Realms.
They got balls of steel.

He has a valid opinion, off course he has no idea what he's talking about.

If its still like the demo, all units like glass cannons. Anything can destroy anything, and relatively fast. I was told this would be addressed in (balancing patches), but I don't believe they will.

What’s wrong with chasing down GDIF with the ball from raiders of the lost ark?

It will be extremely unfortunate if the sphere is the Dynasty's ultimate weapon. Its about as far from the rule of cool and villians always have the cool looking **** as a unit possibly can get.

Especially since this game doesn't seem to have cool super weapons...

Where are the bio-engineered super soldiers? Super-heavy tanks? Giant mechs? Instead we get what... a friggin ball bearing.

They need to make a GDF mission where you explore a lost temple or cave and the dynasty unleashed one of these balls on your archeologist units. That would work.

I remember finding the Yuri's Revenge floating disc nonsensical when I heard about it but I first saw it in game during the moon mission where my mind was already playing along with the lunacy and accepted the floating discs into the game. Maybe the ball would be alright if it was introduced in the right scenario.
i honestly love the ball, i can play pinball in my rts game whats not to love.

100% Granted I was in my mid/late teens back then and was just blind to it and was obsessed with C&C though :KaneLives:

The Ball Stays.
MrDjinn Apr 24 @ 5:22am
IDC if it stays or not, but can it at least do things when ordered to attack-move instead of getting stuck still on random things like walls? Hell, sometimes it rolls up to an enemy unit and just stays still too. The AI is shot on this thing...
