Will there be a GOG release as well?
This game looks really good and I hope that it releases on the GOG store as well.

Why do people like GoG genuinely curious??

I only have cyber punk on GoG and its not great in my experience...
DRM free stuff. Sometimes has better prices than Steam.

I love gog too tbf.
+1 for a GOG release. Anyone tried asking the devs directly?
Yes, please. Sell it to me on GOG, and I'll buy it as soon as I see it on the release list - no questions asked.

Otherwise, I wish the devs great success regardless, but for my money, it's gotta be on GOG.

For what? You can play it on steam, why would u bother on GOG release anyway? Don't understand u fools till today still complaining about DRM. Dont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, u guys are planning to bootleg the game? stop being cheap and buy the game. Support the developer.
Actually one reason some want it on GOG as you get the installer whereas on Steam you don't and Steam can pull the game at anytime and with GOG you do have some control, also buy buying the game on GOG you are still supporting the Dev and it is a matter of choice.

Today Australia just banned Ready or Not from purchase on Steam for no reason, so dont sit here and give me rubbish reasons why wanting this on GOG is for Piracy. It's because we want DRM free. Simple as that, steam achievements is for children, I don't want someone dangling a digital license over my head, and calling me a pirate because I don't confirm with the rest of the mindless drones lmao.

On Steam you own nothing, you only have a license to use which can be taken back, but on GOG you can say the game is yours. I use Steam because I can't get some of the games on GOG but I acknowledge I do not own them and it is not forever as one might think and I grin a little when one comes on and say they own the game on Steam when they do need to read Steam TOS as it explains it all. On GOG I do not have to pirate because the prices are cheap especially for the older games.

let us also not forget that GOG keeps older games alive by actually updating them for modern systems. All STEAM does is sell them.

DRM sucks.

GOG has better family sharing system.
GOG has better refund system.
GOG doesn't FORCE updates.
GOG let's you download the install files which allows you to install without an Internet connection, and enables you to play offline indefinitely.

The better question is...why would you not buy from GOG?

Meanwhile You are still using Steam over "superior" GOG.

Good Question... why?

Because some of the games are not available on GOG yet.

Because Valve's near dominance of PC gaming means these forums are the primary method developers use to communicate and get feedback from users. Even back when I used Twitter, these forums were the best tool to talk to devs.

And that is not a "good" thing, or some generous act by Valve, because they can and often do shut down these threads
