Which Is your Favourite Command & Conquer Game?

Hi guys, just wondering which is your favourite C&C Game? I feel multiplayer balance wise, Tiberium Sun was the best. C&C 3 Was okay as well, but the end game units were quite powerful once you reach critical mass.

I do not really like Red Alert 1 and Tiberian Dawn's multiplayer balance, quite a bit of early rushing required from my past experience.

Red Alert 2 was probably my most played one. Then Tiberian Sun. Im not a fan of Red Alert 3. I don't like the supply depot resource mechanic. Plus the cartoony look and the units just got too ridiculous for my liking.

It is a toss-up between Red Alert 1 and Tiberian Sun.

Red Alert 1 had a really nice overall feel to it. The unit selection for each side felt good and the developers had not yet let a desire for humor totally take control of unit design and choice. It had a good balance of useful units and goofy ones.

Tiberian Sun is in the running because it really nailed the general vibe and atmosphere it was going for really well. The visuals, music, and even the basic design all came together into a really nice whole.

I love the original cnc released in 1995 for its newness and never seen before formula (well you know it did expand on their 93 dune 2 formula) but my favorite game play was in the original Generals

Online play: Tiberian Dawn, by far the most online cnc I played. Balance is fine if you pass the early rush stage.

Setting: Red Alert. I like the alternate cold war era style war, although I dislike the balance because basic tanks are op to the point other units feel unneeded.

Skirmish: Generals and the Zero Hour expansion. By far the most cnc game I played on skirmish.

I found tiberian sun multiplayer is not well balanced, everyone only plays Gdi and do orca bomber or carryall + disruptor/mammy every game. If you pick Nod people think you're either new or fooling around. The atmosphere and campaign is nice though, I rank it slightly below TD and RA.

C&C3, love the atmosphere, the immersion, the campaign and the fact that units come out of the barracks in squads.

Hour H remains the best for me.
Possibility of building everywhere and an exposive atmosphere. Amazing music, I still play it, the game is aging very well

Command and conquer rivals, its free to play and i can play it on my phone.

Tiberian sun for campaign, its just oozes atmosphere, has a great story, good cut scenes and some really hard missions. It set the bar at the time for rts. Was way ahead of its time.

For multiplayer though, i guess id have to go with generals, Nuke china ftw.
overall for both sp and mp i think Tiberian Wars is probably the best overall game for all modes, and its level editor. Lots of cool maps, 3 campaigns, 3d was great, and mp was really fun once they patched it lol.
