Only ECO contracts and no ECO equipment

Hello,
I come to ask if I am the only one in this case. The new game update adds ECO contracts requiring ECO equipment. But I only have ECO contracts and no means to buy ECO equipment.
What can I do?

you don't have enough equipment for yourself let alone the funds to take on more employers

i've played for 2 days and hit restart on it because i am like how can i be broke as ♥♥♥♥ and only make $50 that my end of day tally is $200 and can't do other contracts because i don't have enough money to buy a new mower and parts

then after 3 jobs mower speed goes from 10 down to 4 and i wan't to be able to drive at a good speed not be restricted to frail old man speed and take 2hrs to finish a contract

i don't care if we break the speed limit GO FASTER should be able to do a speed of 20-30 but nup

restarted played 4hrs and still broke and mowers are still slow this game is a piece of crap

When you get to this point, you need to trade in one of your mowers for an eco mower. It is the option next to "sell". Its like "trade for parts" or something like that.

I also managed to solve my issue to take out a triple 2500 loan and so have the money available with a trade in to buy an eco mower.

Do I just started this game. I can only take out a 2500 loan, I can’t sell my mower because it’s my only mower and on my second set of jobs the are all eco only. I’m literally stuck because this game has every job as eco only. I have a ton of hours on this game from Xbox before this update and loved it. It’s literally broken for some stupid green agenda. It’s a video game devs. They are all fake. No real trees were harms here’s….except all the flowers I mowed over.

Get good at the starter contracts and more non-ECO contracts open up. I had to restart a few times to be better at those, because of the same issue. Once I got better at them, and completed more non-ECO contracts, I made enough to trade my mower in for an ECO mower, without taking out loans.

Also, don't hire employees just because you have the option. Build up your money first. I waited until I hit my first $100K before I hired one person. Then, the next time I hit $100K, hired a second, and so on. Doing it that way makes it a lot easier. Now I send them out on jobs while I run around 1-star levels picking up dog and people poop LOL

At first I was seeing the spiral ones, then I started seeing long straight ones. Thought they were smaller sticks at first, but either the UK has stout twigs, or these are human logs.
They also make the same sound as the spiral ones when you collect them.

Glad I am not the only one facing this issue. Not played for that long, but already facing only Eco contracts. I'm still on my first mower, can't sell or exchange because it's my only one. Can't buy another because I only have one bay. An upgrade is underway, but 5 days to go and no way to accelerate time without doing jobs, which I cannot do.
I see someone say that better performance changes which contracts you get - but the game should never get to this broken point.
Either inform me at the start that an Eco mower is essential - or tell me that my performance is so bad I must get better to avoid a dead end - or just friggin tell me GAME OVER.

This is IMO a fundamental break - as bad as a game where you need a key you didn't pick up and can't go back to get it.

I don't know if the "git gud" is a bug or a feature, or if it's just a coincidence, but that's been my experience, both with the free base (no DLC) version that was on Amazon Games a while back, and the Steam version with all DLC.

And you can certainly sell/trade your one and only mower, the game doesn't stop you from doing it. Take out the loans. You do eventually pay them all back, at which point you're making enough money that you don't need them, and you've got employees and a wide variety of equipment.

If you run into this issue you can go to Part Exchange Vehicle and then trade in your current mower for an Eco for around 700 pound. If you buy the Ego Z6 you can also buy a mulch plug for 34 pound and a bagging kit for 300

Don't need the bagger with the mulcher. Mulcher turns the grass to dust (basically).
