Do people with higher tier (10% 25%) get better bonuses than say those with 50%?
Better as in:
50% Score x 1.1 = damage bonus
25% score x 1.2 = damage bonus
10% score x 1.4 = damage bonus
Content you can only access when you pay is called DLC (granted though, that definition has been muddied by loads of bs over time as well)
That said, unless proven otherwise, the tome is only indirect p2w but not like people think. The tome bonuses shown are what you get from your own upgrades, from bubbles for example. So the tome isn't THAT bad, but it exacerbates fomo and pushes people to get higher scores and get into that juicy 0,5 percent of people.
One huge problem that Lava has is, he spends too much time around people who are on the same page as he is. A typical gamedev problem though. Someone who isn't familiar with videogames would be completely lost with this game and not play long at all. Most things are poorly explained, if at all. All of your upgrades go all over the place, it ain't easy to know what goes where or comes from where. Perfectly encapsuled with this update. One big effin reason why it update blew up in his face again. He definitely lost touch with the average user..
i just really want to get my achievements :(
Pay for convenience.
Pay for progress.
But not Pay to Win.
What would be the point? If you win a game its over.
Pretty difficult end this early without a biting remark, but the bottom line is, one of the biggest problems in this is that too many don't care.
