So the others do reset?
I'm guessing a future upgrade resets most others but will give you an overall bonus, like it works with other idle games. Or it's just a "hint" that it gives more/bigger bonuses upgrading forward.
That said, I think there's an issue/bug with how the feathers are counted when upgrading, aka the reduction. Just stood there for a few minutes, me and another player were dancing, a third one did nothing, but the game started to stuffer. Stutter reduced when I stopped dancing but only went away going out and back in. (nobody besides me was present then). Second time I waited a while and it didn't seem to stutter, though there was short hiccup right before nearing the exit portal (not exiting though). Guess the combo of dancing, counting and its display is to blame
Didn't do it for me either, veryfying integrity of game files did the trick though
