Mastering the Vibe Check Bug

I completed this quest on one of my Blood Berserker with no problem. I had the 'voice' counting down my kills for me until it was complete. When I went to complete it on my other Blood Berserker (who is higher level), he doesn't get the voice counting down kills. I figured it was a bug with the voice, then proceeded to kill every mob like I did with my other character. I have now killed every mob that I have access to, and it still has not updated the quest to complete so I can get the new Mastery Class complete. I have tried to forfeit the quest, but it does not fix the problem. Anyone else having this problem, or have any solutions?

I had this big as well, I just closed the game, there was a patch which I installed, and then when I logged back into the character the quest started right and the counting began.
I should note that I where still on the quest giver map, no clue if that is needed, but though it best to mention.
