sneaking issues

i started using nunchaku on the 1st door, game say no xp/item when attacking the door.
so i unequipped them to try to get more jade coin, i use 3 sand of time, pass, fail, pass.
no new coin/xp had been add.

once you attack the door do you need to kill, before you can get coin again?
I'm miss something?

last thing i did swap to my black flag guy to rise his talent over night.

The problem with sneaking is, your "ninja twin" can do only one of two categories of things, sneaking, or being noisy. Sneaking means no weapon or other tool equipped, only that will giv coins and xp. Nunchaku attacks doors, makes noise but gives no xp or coins. Think of sneaking like looting the place and a tool is being busy with other things.
If you want to get guaranteed xp and coins, put your ninja twin in the lowest level where the ghost is cleaning the floor, it gives much less in xp and coins, but at least you can never get "caught" there. With more upgrades and levels, higher areas will also be safer so you can go there safely and get more xp and coins.

There are two possible reasons I can think of why you did not get xp despite not having a weapon/tool equipped. A) during sneaking characters can still be caught and get knocked out, then they need an hours to recover. It takes an hour to "finish" sneaking, and an hour to recover. What I do NOT know is if these process happen on their own in cycles, repeating itselves, or whether you have to look there for either to finish and start the next one.
B) the other reason you get nothing could be that the game did not update your character not having a tool equipped (just to be safe, no tool means also no kunai for cutting ropes or anything). The game always takes a bit to update. The best advice for that is, for every kind of change in equipment or talents, to exit and enter the screen again after you made all the changes you want. Typically then everything should be updated already, staying on one screen takes longer (and sometimes doesn't happen at all)

I think B is what happen.
i did do exit and enter the screen again after i made all the changes i want. before the report.

the cleaning ghost do gave xp but no coin sadly, that it was hard to go forward. by now i kill the door and are coin come in.
I hope no new w6 people run this bug

A lot of it is trial and error. Making mistakes and learning from them is normal. (same with devs and new updates :P) Good luck!
