Keychain recycling

There are so many useless keychains I keep getting and am throwing away (because I can't sell them anymore) but it would be nice if I could actually do something useful with them. There already exist keychain fragments, so being able to recycle/salvage scraps from existing ones shouldn't be too much to ask. Obviously relative to their tier and not that many for each anyway but still
