Game skipped quest for 'Blue Tee' recipe

How am I suppose to get this? The only thing I could find is the wiki vaguely mentioning you get it from 'The Smithing Grind' from Scripticus and that it's listed before the one to go pick a class. But I've never gotten the quest with any of my characters and I'm on his last one on all of them. Was the quest removed? So how am I supposed to get the recipe?

its a little frustrating the blue tee recipe is bugged/missing, its for the secret quest as well as the post office box sometimes. need to use a pen just to refresh :/

not sure why but it's not obtainable anymore you'll have to get it traded to you from someone who already has it.

yes it's been in the game since before parting was implemented

Idleon doesn't feature item trading.
The only recent addition was Pet trades.

For the post office use, you can use a pen to skip this item's delivery quest, to at least unblock that part of the usage.

if you double click on someone it will bring up there character sheet in the upper right hand corner there is the option to trade like I said it's old

That trade button is for pet trades and not item trades, it was introduced with the update on february 24th.
So that button has only been there for like 2 weeks.

that button has been there for years but yes it's been overwritten by the pet trade system now
