No portal more kill count down?

Why don't I see how many kills I need in the corner to open the portal for the area was it removed or is this a glitch?

yeah when i started the game last week i had portal kill count and the vault icon in the top left corner, now both of them are gone for me as well. vault is in codex > quik ref, but i don't know how to get the counter back. also i can't teleport anywhere in w4 with any of my chars but teleportation everywhere else works. this game is super buggy and they aren't just lil bugs :(

I started 10th character yesterday and in one of the early quests - when you need to kill frogs or green spores to open the next map, they tell you "here is the portal counter to the next map, you need to get it to zero" and point at some place in the top left corner. I was surprised because I don't remember counter being there ever. I always remember them as numbers on top of portals because I always had to go to those portals to check how much more I still need. So maybe it was there initially but it was removed a long time ago.

That's weird because I think I do renumber seeing it a week or two ago

its only for new characters i think. it fades away after you get to the boss !? not sure but i only got it for my 7th and 8th character on the first map.
