A question about Updates :)
How long will the game get updates, or how long will the servers stay online? Does anyone know? I'm new to the game :)

There's an active community with a large player base, and a developer that still regularly makes personal appearances within it. I doubt you have anything to worry about here.

Nobody can look into the future so nobody can tell you that. Lava seems to be doing well so the game gets plenty of updates for who knows how long.

That said, you should get that mentality out of your head because it's not doing anoyne any good. For anything along the lines of games-as-a-service there is SOME merit to the question but a simple look at the discussions and updates for the game are telling a very clear story.

Generally speaking though, a game no longer receiving updates doesn't mean they are abandoned or whatever. Sometimes games are just finished. Yes with or without bugs. No game is ever bug free. Most people who ask questions like that are irrationally entitled pricks who only ask them in bad faith because it carries with a host of accusations implying misconduct on the dev's side, and you don't want to be one of those people. People should be nicer to the devs who make their hobby possible.

Game's been around a while with steady active updates and there's no evidence it's going to change any time soon.
Still at least two worlds planned afaik.
There is so much content yet to be released you have nothing to worry about. Search for the road maps / future content for the new amazing content Lava is working on such as new worlds, new guild content (guild hall, guild dungeons) as well as whole new subsub class for our sub classes, like the new death bringer, which means our current class options like doubles, crazy fun! It's kind of exciting what Lava is going to give us TBH. You can see the road map on the wiki.
ok , thanks :) :btd6thumbsup:

Especially since devs only create games out of the goodness of the hearts, and for no other reason at all. I personally think there should be some way we could show appreciation by compensating them for their work, but you know these selfless devs. They would probably refuse any money we tried to give them. Modern Day Saints doesn't even describe your average dev. Just an unbelievable amount of volunteer work. I'm going to bake a casserole and take it to my nearest dev so they don't starve. It's the least I can do.

I think JFK said it best: "Ask not what your dev can do for you, ask what you can do for your dev." We should all strive to be more like JFK.
Game will likely last at least a few more years MINIMUM before he's done making the game.
We'll likely have an update this week or next week latest.

Hes pretty good with updates however if you feel burned out, leave your guys doing something and come back when the next major update (like a new world or class you're interested in ect) and just keep playing.
That's one thing about Idle games I enjoy. You dont have to be here the whole time.

If you go this route, make sure you turn off the 10-hour prayer, lol.

I simply never use it.
However I think one or 2 of my characters wasted a ton of time doing nothing.

as long as lava feels like it
he might randomly start a new game tomoro and totaly abandon this one
hes impulsive like that
Why does the mobile version have an offline mode and the PC version doesn't? Does the PC version have that too?

Yeah. X out of the game, same as mobile. The game is "running in the background" any time you aren't actively playing it. Doesn't matter which device you play on.
