I feel stuck
I'm in world 4, I've just reached the map for the troll boss, but I feel really under powered. even on my strongest characters, those hammer things still take several hits to kill even one of them. and several of my characters can't get that far, they're stuck at the jellyfish things or earlier atm. I just got my Veeman (lv 150), and my strongest character is lv 200. I'm in the process of getting all my armor to at least void, but I can technically mine up to starfire ores.

I have not been doing quests really, other than the bare minimum ones to unlock all the NPCs, and I feel like I need a checklist of "Have all of this stuff done by the time you leave world 4".

I also have no idea what I should be setting my Veeman to do when AFK. Right now he's mining gold because I get the most exp/hour from it on him. (Do beginners use str for mining like warriors, or do they use luck because beginner? I never checked so I have my points distributed evenly between all 4 stats on my skilling build)

should I go back and do all the quests in worlds 1-4?
should I make all the medals? (Do they even do anything???)
should I upgrade the gear on every character?
Am I supposed to have all these keychains?
should I get all my alchemy vials to a certain color first?
alchemy bubbles that need prioritized?
should I max out all my worship locations first?
do miniboss rare drops happen in the Colosseum?
Should I farm bosses for opals?
Should I do all the achievements?
Should I max out the task board points first?
Do I need to unlock everything in the anvil from bosses, or are boss armors skip-able?

It hasn't really been until world 4 that I've felt stuck.
my breeding pets have gotten as far as uh.... the boar thing that attacks with the big fist that shoots little fists, from world 1. I don't have anything from world 2 other than sandy pots, and I don't have the gene spirals gun for world 2 yet. I don't even know how to craft it I don't think. I only just got my 3rd multiplier type.

my cooking feels trash. I don't have a lot of levels, but I have a bunch of recipes unlocked, but they go so slow, but i've been upgrading them.

aaand other than getting to leave the town, doing all my job advances including veeman, I haven't done any quests for world 4.

Definitely worth doing all quests on at least 2 chars, DEFINITELY worth knocking out all the quests after w3 as that's when they almost always matter to get the rewards. The quests take some time but if you can manage them they snowball accounts (Pig's for stamps, Royal worm, rift and monolith are huge even at lower stages)

Vmen still use the usual stats that boost other classes skilling (str for mining yes)

I will say the troll boss, unless you can one shot or kill in the first round is a tough boss, a Troll through and through. A lot of the fight is RNG in which mini task you get.

I mostly ignored cooking as it was a slog to level, unless i just had one zerk on it for extra ladles and leveled everyone with pearls, But the meals are really good. A lot of them are likely your best bet at boosting account, but for that you need the spices. For that you need pet fighting (there are make up guides unless you wanna spend hours figuring out make up teams) and for that you need strong pets.

Another one: dungeon rewards, your pathways to BIS rings for many things. I know slow going but it is a difference of multitudes of skilling gains and damage.

alright, I will do quests on my first character that had the most done, and with my Veeman,

i've been keeping up with the pets as best as I can, but I got bottlenecked by food costs for upgrades I only *just* got the ability to have better eggs to hatch.

I gotta figure out which character I have is best for the dungeon. for some reason some characters can't use all their attack abilities, and I haven't figured out why. It says I have enough mp, and they aren't X'd out. so IDK what's going on with that. I got as far as trying to fight the 3rd frog once or twice but always timed out, and that's when i stopped trying. and now I can't get that far because I run out of drops, because RNG.

Is it worth it to do one dungeon over another? are the rewards different?
Quick tip, balloons can be used to boost cooking level. I used black pearls/divine pearls to get everyone to level 50 by now and spammed a ton of balloons on my blood berserker to boost his level much higher. Balloons werent viable when I boosted everyone else's level so it might actually be easier with them.
Whenever you're at a point where you're not powerful enough, look through some systems and see what you can do.
Check alchemy, try to fill out the bubbles.
Try re-sampling your 3d prints

One thing I didnt do for far too long was equip skilling speed food when taking 3d prints. It makes a huge difference.

Try upgrading gear. Try finding capes, try checking quests for stamps you havent unlocked.
Work on party dungeon stuff, get the stat rings. The flurbo stat boosts can be huge.
Try capping out some skill books, maybe re-spec if you've spread your points thin before booking up skills.

I find warriors to be the easiest to run through party dungeons. Might not be the best over all but they're the easiest IMO.
Play during party hour and just try to survive. Remember to deposit the stuff to the pot and higher level players will likely smash it. Frog dungeon is the easiest and quickest but I've enjoyed beating the others as well.

I'm sorry, what? you can 3d print food??? is that what you just said?
No, no.
If you make for example mining speed food and then take your 3d prints while its equipped, it helps a ton. Then you throw it back in your stash or inventory if you dont want to waste it.

If you wanna get pet battles pushed forward, at a point it all becomes mechanic cheese (which i think is dumb, but is mandatory for it to not take decades to progress) I'd definitely look stuff up on that.

I think there was a skill mp cost change that impacted dungeons a bit, which sucks but if just look out for the happy hours and do one of each (20x points for 20 passes) it progresses faaast. W1 till rank 20-25 should be good and then i much preferred W2 dungeon, more chill but more learning. As for best classes: Zerk and divine are pretty good and pretty equal. Divine is better for some things just cause of the auto attack (cannot compare to new death bringer cause have not tried yet and is w6 class) Mage (i like ES more) classes are really good but better when you have more MP and MP utility RNG, around r30+ with soda can unlocked. There is also a side strat with J/Vman where you stack stardew drop ('FMJ' Alchemy bubble to Lv. 30).

ALSO unlocking RNG voucher (from souped up salts achieve). Rank up the Redox Combustion refinery chamber to Rank 10. Will snowball your damage most dungeons.

I am also not opposed to boosting people in dungeons, but that only works if i am around

Actually, for the coin flip thing, you can use the rope to face neither right or left, which he will consider as your win anyway instead of inflicting you an unfair 50/50

as somebody in w3 i have no clue what you are all saying
Number go up good
If need more number, grind something

Lab, alchemy and to a lesser degree stamps will probably be your biggest gate for damage in w4.
Get your lab beefed up to make sure youve got all the nodes lit up based on what you're trying to achieve.
Get your bubbles and vials leveled up, this will take a while to catch up if youve been neglecting it unless you have a Bubo with 200+ on the teneta talent and can run it on auto for a few hours at a time.
Stamps is just a different kind of pain of having to get your stack sizes beefed up.
Don't forget your card and card sets can have a big buff when selecting the right ones for the job.

Feeling about the same.
Pushed to the w5 boss but not strong enough to kill it.
Sitting in div on everyone right now just trying to get some levels it's so boringly slow at 1 xp/hour.
Lab is the same, it's just boring.
I like to go through every character every hour or two so 'gained 7 xp' is not super engaging.

I know I need to sit enough to get lab and div useful but I also need to grind stamp and alch mats to get sample size up enough to go fight again :(

on w5 release it still took my account a bit to be able to get the boss down, uhh lab and div should have class boons. Those are also good 'lets take a break' skills to leave toons on but yeah tonnes of damage upgrades between the two.
Have you looked up the ideal talent setup for your class? I only ask because I had horrible AFK % on that last map in world 4, taking forever to get a key. I read some guides and it turns out I was allocating my points incorrectly. The other thing that helped was worked on my bubbles/vials, parcels and stamps, lots of grinding to upgrade those. That did the job.

edit: "that did the job" to get better results in world 4, i'm ways off world 5. I'm mostly rocking lustre set with chizoar gear. my rings suck.
