How to start playing this game?

When I start the game I just get a screen with a mountain scene and a little sign that says "Play", but it doesn't do anything when I click it and there's no menu options anywhere to do anything.

Did you click to start/name a new character first, then click play?
Been a while but there should be an outline of a man to the far left that is unlocked that you click first.
As your level progresses more of those characters will open so you can have new characters with different classes ;)

There is what looks like a wall across the bottom of the screen with six discs that look like they should hold characters. But there isn't anything on them. And clicking the discs or above the discs does nothing

game opens up the more you play it. you only see less than 00.001% of the game when you first start. trust me. i only have a few 100 hours of play....

Sounds like fun. But there is nothing to play. Just a mountain scene that does nothing no matter how much you click it.

did you make your first char? slot near the bottom?

it does not auto select the char you want to play on. you have to click it before clicking play. also dont forget to select one of the flags for langue at the bottom.

No flags to select. No characters to select. I've tried clicking and right-clicking all over the screen.

did you try and logout of the account and back in. I use the google one because i have the same one on my phone. this game is also on android. you can try making an account there. then logout of this steam one "IN game launcher". then link the android version.

i am only guessing here because the steam version could be bugged.

If you have more than one drive, try reinstalling on the other drive. That made mine work.
