Honestly i would much preferred gems from world bosses get removed and get balanced out into something else than make getting cards take an insane amount of time when it already took a crazy amount of time to get plat level on some bosses. OR buff the card rate and drop multi breakpoints.
Even when a boss doesn't drop like the max amount of items there are still ilke 5-7 seconds of drops coming. Personally I welcome this 10 second barrier because it will help minimise potential loss of drops both from the boss' regular drop table AND event drops which drop differently than the others. On the W1 boss for example special drops land on the top platform in front of his nose (or used to, unless Lava changed/fixed that) instead of on the platform he stands on. There's also a good delay for autoloot to kick in and accientally (or overzealously trying to) hitting the rerun button would make you lose out on drops.
Tested this a bunch of times with Amarok on normal and the Troll on chaotic, didn't want to waste keys on nightmare. It's probably also trolltastic on purpose now that he sent me to town every few rerun attempts (didn't check whether it still absorbed my keys but am not bothering to check, I got better things to do)
Your effective down time is like 3-5 seconds, (pretty much zero with max drops), still less time than it takes you to kill and pick up the drops even when done manually. It feels much longer because you're doing "nothing" but it is actually quite short.
Besides Babda, the mention of the macro thing and gems wasn't against you but measures like this are typically part of Lava's attempts at curtailing the abuse of this strategy for quick and easy gem gain. Because as usual, axe holes are the reason why the rest of us can't have nice things. You can see similar measures be taken in other games... or, well, I'm just thinking of WoW right now but I'm sure there's more out there from stuff I haven't played, in regardfs to that I'd say we're still lucky that boss attempts aren't limited and that W4/5 keys can be farmed...the lousy amount of boss keys for W1/2/3 are laughable for 5* cards.
it takes you not even 1 second to kill those bosses and another to pikc up the loot, so the waiting time is longer than the actuall kill + loot, it feels like wasting time, i mean ive got my troll material but ive waited longer than necessary, and no there is no "depending on how much the boss drops", you can pick it up mid air, hold you mouse and hover over the place it lands, you can pick up all the loot before the icon even appears.
anyway, it feels like a time waste and im sure im not alone with this.
pretty sure the actuall macro user clicked the same pixel over and over again, a simple reconition for this would make a huge ban wave instead of making the game a bit less fun for normal player. but well im not the dev. gotta live with it. now i have 1 more reason to never "farm" bosses.
There was an anti cheat nerf(i suspect is the reason) to all bosses, the re run button takes 5x longer to spawn and moves now, if you misclick it warps you to town. To get kattlekruk2 plat card it took a good 3 hours, versus it would have taken a previous 30mins.
