Bug/Glitch

For some reason I can't play the game and I'm locked in the menu screen with no character and this clouds background and there's a play button but it doesn't do anything. Can you please try and fix this bug so I can play along with many others that are also experiencing this issue.

I have the same problem, but on my laptop it works, so i think we are stuck in loading screen somehow.

same problem, haven't played in forever, installed and its just that screen. i'm guessing its a bug detecting previous play with perhaps the steam achievements so the tutorial isn't triggering. but with no characters you basically get stuck?

Pretty sure this has cloud saving, but also since I haven't had to redownload it should have my old save

Figured out a solution!

I saw this in another post, of someone who seemed to have a similar problem to us in another thread and this dude's response was perfect.

Then make sure your IdleOn on steam has Steam Overlay turned: ON

Then Follow these simple steps:
If your IdleOn client is having issues with logging into accounts on the Steam version of IdleOn, these steps should be able to solve the problem:
With the Steam version closed, put this into the address bar of your file explorer %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\ and then delete the legends-of-idleon folder. Afterwards, launch the game and you should be able to log into your account/get started.

I deleted my save data and just relogged in after resetting (Thankfully I had my account hooked up to my google account) and now it works fine!

It seems to me that save data just seems to have been corrupted and wasn't loading right

i only followed the last step of deleting the folder and can confirm this works.

Tried your method but seems it don't work with steam (i created my account through steam and have no other methods like email)

I cant login through steam at all, none of the above fixes it.
