Efaunt is hard to beat?

Hi, I am in need of help to beat Efaunt on W2 with my level 71 Mage. I can't seem to take his health down a lot without dying from his fireballs and hands?

Can you please suggest a level I would be able to kill him easily!!!!!

I can't say for sure, since I beat it on a ranged archer class character, but I think I was only level fifty-ish. You have to watch the range on his moves. Prioritise killing off the arms that do ranged attacks, as the more arms that die, the less attack options he has, and thus the faster he attacks with his remaining hands specifically.

Make use of strength potions and food. As long as you can avoid taking damage for 30 seconds or more, and have a regen food that does your max HP or higher, you can't die.

Also, it wasn't mentioned in your post, but were you trying to just attack him directly? He takes reduced damage until *all* his hands are dead. Just focus the hands one at a time.

there are only a couple hands that do a lot of damage(oneshots or near so), if you can dodge them, the rest of the fight is not bad. Chop is top right, just step back half the platform and Finger gun bottom left which you have to leave platform entirely to avoid.

kill arms to break his shield then kill the head

his left arms have some very high damage moves that can one shot if you get hit at that level

Also go to Orion (The Owl) spend a few hours on it. He really ups all your stats. Helps a lot

don't forget the damage upgrades you can find with vault 1 & 2 upgrades

make sure you use food cuz it can really make a big difference

also, i just wanted to say that i did beat efaunt with a lv76 beginner (no class selected), though the damage output of that char at the time was roughly 1.2-1.4m (most of this damage was due to vault upgrades, no food was equipped, basic lvl40 equipment used including using fistcuff-type weapons)

you can beat efaunt really easy if that mage class is a shaman class and using throwing flasks, hide in far left corner and spam potions for about an hour ish.
