lost my account linked with steam?

had a bug happen to me not to long ago where i got signed out of the game and it froze when i tried to sign it. when it froze, it did it on my characters.....i updated the game, and signed in and it saying i havent even played the game? like none of my characters are there.

Same just happened to me. First it said I wasn't in a guild, which worried me as I thought I had somehow mistakenly deleted the one I run, so I closed the game and reopened it to find ALL my characters gone... does anyone know what is going on?

Somehow my account was linked to my email, so I recovered it. Not sure if this happened because it was linked to both steam and an email and it was forced to choose one against the other, or if it un-linked from Steam for a different reason and I would have lost everything had it not also somehow been linked to my email as well. Hope this helps a few people recover their data.

I'm having the same problem Kampish. I tried Steam and email several times, and verifying my files. No dice.

Hopefully it's fixed soon. If not, I was pretty much a newbie with only 3 characters, but it's still a bit depressing to start over.

Steam was added as a login option on November 14 2024. So, if your account is older than that, try the Google log in option if email login isn't showing your characters. Or, if your account is newer than that, just try the Google login anyway if the Steam and email login options aren't working.

If that doesn't fix it, you could try emailing the dev LavaFlame. He has his email listed on his Discord in the customer-support channel. He says there that he needs to have your first idleon character's name and the email that you think you signed up with in the email that you send to him. I think he replies to emails on Sundays.
